Thought I would post some fun pics of the Nut... We have almost had her for a year now and she keeps growing on me:-) She really turned out to be the perfect farm dog, though still follows too intently while I'm on horse back, but lets face it I don't do much riding anymore anyways.Friday night while I was watching Matt fish Peanut heard the kennel dogs barking and ran to check things out. She was running along the hillside and I yelled out to her "don't fall", just then she hit a hole and did a complete somersault and ate it big time. She yelped, but got up immediately, seemed a bit stunned, but then came running over to be as if nothing ever happened. I checked out her toes, limbs and back and didn't find any ouchy spots. But I got her
to lay down in the lake for a good 10 mins and let the cool water help keep any swelling down. I was shocked come Saturday morning, OK it was really afternoon because cause that's been I finally got up:-p, but she wasn't limping or anything. I expected her to be very sore and stiff, but it's like nothing happened at all. It wasn't a pretty fall and she ate alot of dirt so we are very lucky she didn't get hurt!
She was waiting patiently in the wash stall for me to come hose her off...

Glad the Nut wasn't hurt in her fall. She looks like she plays hard and has lots of fun and lots of energy.

Peanut is just the cutest! Your photos are just so fun! The karate chip cracked me up! I like the one of her in the water looking up the best. She's so pretty!

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one one 'not-riding'. Seems that everyone is out on their horses this summer. sigh.

Hi there!!! Missed you...and that was a bit sad how you jsus said..face it, I am not riding much. OH Lester..is he doing alright? Is he retired?He is sooo wonderful, and I do pray he is well.
NUT..I love that dog too and the two of them are fast friends..love to see the antics D! Glad too that she was not sore. She looks so very happy in the water too!
