I had to put the cones up to keep him from coming all the way into the tack room :-) This is the face I get the WHOLE time we are tacking up.
I hopped on him yesterday hopping he would feel pretty good since I hadn't been on him in almost a month, but he didn't. He was VERY trippy in the hindend just at the walk. We did do a little trotting on a straight away and did OK. He's learned pretty much though that it's rare that I ask him for a turn now so he just stops when he wants to. Fine by me, at least he's cute.

OH my- laughing hard here with the toungue out thing...I almost expected you to put something on it! I know he did!
He is darned cute D!! His tippy sounds like the EPM(I think it is called) my freinds mare got..though she could not even walk, let alone turn.
Oh D, so sorry for this, it has got to be difficult. I am glad he has you to understand him and love him!

OMG! He is TOO CUTE! I want to give him a kiss on that adorable nose.
Lester is just so darn cute!
Cute! What a character :) And he's so glossy - Sunny's so very woolly still.
I've been wondering about EPM, as well. Not that I know much about it other than it affects coordination & balance and sometimes manifests gradually. Lester hasn't ever been turned out anywhere with access to bracken-type plants, has he?
Jennifer's right - he's just adorable!
Can't EPM also be transferred through animals (ie possums)?
As for the vid, that was SO cute. Exactly what you described! :)
he's so funny. he needs a fan club.
I think the funny thing is three plastic cones keep him out! Love that horse!
WHAT a cornball your Lester is!!!! I love it!!! Too bad he was so trippy for your ride though....
He's adorable!! Love the tongue! The cones are hilarious. My horse, Candy would just knock them all over with her nose and walk right in after me. Gotta love their personalities.
I think Less is part greyhound! Those cones stop him, just like they would a greyhound. How funny! Kiss that nose for me.
ROFLMBO!! The way he sticks his tongue out is the funniest and cutest thing I've seen for a long time.
Why doesn't my mare ever do anything that cute with her lips or tongue?!
I bet he just makes you smile and laugh all the time you're with him :D
