Kadabra

After our Dear Spooky passed on in Feb. Matt and I decided to become greyhound foster parents. At first I didn't want to think about greyhounds or ever consider getting another one:-( Spooky was my one and only heart dog. I miss her so much it still hurts like hell most days.
So there is no better time to foster then when you are still nursing your wounds from a recent loss. It allows you to help a hound in need without "failing" your foster role and adopt the hound yourself, so I say, but this one, Kadabra is our 3rd since March.
The SEGA adoption org. has a blog for every available hound, such a great idea! Anyway her blog is http://dkskadabra.blogspot.com/ if you want to keep tabs on her ;-) I just ask that you don't comment on her blog, I know it's hard! :-) but comment here all you like!

Kadabra is bee-yoo-ti-ful :)

Don't think a greyhound would be a good dog to have in the dead of winter in Saskatchewan though.

Denise,

I know this is off subject but - I noticed you ride English too - I am looking for a good english saddle, have a couple posted on my blog, would be interested in your opinion...

Sure, plenty of greyhounds life in Canada.... if that's where Saskatchewan is :-).

Why can't we comment on her blog?

Jen since you are "famous" in the greyhound club world I don't care if you comment, I just didn't want alot of people to comment on her blog that weren't serious adopters-or get off the topic of her :-)
IDK, maybe it doesn't matter, esp if we keep her :-o did I say that?

Uh, oh! I think you did just say it.

Yeah, I can understand not wanting all these "horse people" jingling on Kadabra's blog.... just kidding :-). I think you should have people comment like crazy so she is the most popular SEGA hound ever. :-)

I really hate it when I misspell a word in a comment and then you can't edit it later. I meant to say "live" not "life" in my last comment. That was probably obvious.

I dont know what you have your horses on for grain. my 25 year old arab is on a really good suplument that i lovvvvve. Its all in one msn, glucose,Vitiman C,D and other stuff to help with his arthrides at one point he had to go in to retierment because his arthrides was so bad but know he is is back in lessons, used as my polo crosse pony, and just my best trail horse(sometimes). He gets daily turn out that helps alot and not being worked more then 4 days a week helps too.i will look what the supliment is called when i got to the barn next.
